Our Mission:
The Parenting Place is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and neglect through strengthening families. Our goals are to help families develop healthy parent-child relationships, to improve the futures of our children and ensure healthy families.
About Us:
The Parenting Place was established in 1981 to address the issue of child abuse and neglect in Missoula County. A group of concerned community members and professionals began offering direct services to families in the form of parenting classes and support groups, which expanded over the years to also include home visiting, a children’s program, respite child care, and support for families touched by incarceration.
