About the Event
Trauma can have major impacts on individuals and society as a whole. We will explore the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACES), Historical Trauma, Re-traumatization, Hope & Resiliency. Participants will learn what trauma it is, why it matters and how to be Trauma-Informed/Responsive in our daily interactions.
Learning objectives:
1. Define trauma and understand its impact on health.
2. Recognize our role in Trauma-Informed Care.
3. Apply the core principles of Trauma-Informed Care.
