Nurturing Parenting Program Features

During the 12-week Nurturing Parent Program parents/caregivers of children will learn new strategies to discipline in a nurturing way, manage their stress and learn to help their children handle big emotions. This class fosters peer to peer relationships  in a non-judgmental environment where we can all learn and grow. 

Topics Include:

  • Appropriate expectations of children

  • Building empathy

  • Beliefs in positive discipline techniques

  • Appropriate parent-child family roles

  • Encouraging power and independence in children

Nurturing the Parent-Teen Relationship Features

The Nurturing the Parent-Teen Relationship class is a 12-week course designed to help parents strengthen their bond with their teenagers. This supportive program offers tools and strategies to improve communication, build trust, and better understand the challenges that come with adolescence. Parents will gain practical skills to foster mutual respect and create a more connected, healthy relationship with their teens.

Topics Include:

  • Strengthening communication between parents and teens

  • Building trust and setting healthy boundaries

  • Understanding adolescent development

  • Managing conflict in respectful, constructive ways

  • Supporting independence while staying connected

Nurturing Bonds: Grandparents as Caregivers Features

Nurturing Bonds: Grandparents as Caregivers is a supportive 12-week course created specifically for grandparents raising their grandchildren. This course offers practical tools, encouragement, and insight to help navigate the unique challenges of second-generation parenting. With a focus on connection, resilience, and communication, grandparents will build the skills and confidence needed to create a loving, stable home environment.

Topics Include:

  • Strengthening the grandparent–grandchild relationship

  • Understanding the emotional needs of both generations

  • Navigating modern parenting challenges

  • Establishing routines and healthy boundaries

  • Building resilience through support and self-care
